DeSantis, Is He a Right Winger?

I think that he's strong because he makes the forgotten corners of American society, parents, working class Americans, working class Hispanics feel seen and heard. And I think where you saw Republican success in Florida or in New York, it was people huing to that model. But what failed here was Republicans failed to pitch themselves as the party of the working class from a policy point of view. A lot of Americans are pro-life, but anti-vaccine, but they don't like people telling them what to do with their bodies. Right now we're seeing a lot of that happening on the populist right, but are they backing that up with actual legislation?
