Coaching Optimization - Impact Equals Talent Plus Context Perspective
A player's talent along with the roles that they're asked to perform on offense and defense. We can look at players year after year and if you change their offensive role in a way that better fits their skill set or moves them away from a skill set match and optimizes them worse, we can see that impact their impact. And this is kind of the baseline for how we end up doing our coaching optimization ratings where we look at player impact through LeBron.
