Intramusularing Nailing Techniques

The deep dissection is through the internervous plane between the brachialis muscle and humerus. The lateral fibers are innervated by the radial nerve, with the medial fibers being innervate by musculocutaneous nerve in 80% of patients. Intramusularing nailing techniques rely on plate osteosynthesis commonly with a 4-5 millimeter plate that may be either narrow or broad. Regarding postoperative care, full-crutch weight bearing with open reduction internal fixation has been shown to have no effect on union.
