Aren't the Schools in Scandinavia Better Than the US?
Finland is in the middle of the pack when it comes to pisa scores. The country has a competitive system of schools where families can vote with their feet, and that gives the schools incentives to allocate the dollars wisely. Whereas in the current system in the us, you have these geographic monopolies. There's high transaction costs associated with picking another school.
