The Average Cost of a Data Breach
The average cost of a data breach increased one point six % on the year to an all time record of four point four million dollars in 20 22. The report found that over 50 cent of organization surveyed said they increased the cost of products and services to offset the cost of breaches. 83 percent of respondente, interestingly, reported more than one breach as well.
