Is There Any Fact in the Fiction?

There are facts the actual stories, i think, i treat them largely as fiction. But it is only a fact o that it's quite difficult to determine. Different writers will have set the story in different times. And this chronicle from the early sixteenth century is written 300 years after the original robin hood legend seems to have started. That gives us a scale of the e time distance involved.
