Javier Kamal is the only Colombian Swahili speaker he knows. Colombia has recently announced their intention to introduce Swahili in schools. The initiative was spearheaded by the country's first black vice president, Frankie Máquez. Javier just said he is currently in Colombia with his family until he returns back to Kenya.
