Is There a Decentralized Social Media?

i think there's two kinds of decentralization that you have to kind of talk about separately. One is the centralization, the rue, just rating more platforms that each have a smaller number of users than people can choose between. The other is between creating, like, single platforms or single protocles that are more desentialized internally. So i thinkf along the interms of the first in terms of ome kind of would things fragment more. I think the pressure for people just onts to be able to unicte with other people half way across the world and and be part of the same social equo system as large fractions of the world population is just t too large
