In the genome, there's about 30 million methylation sites. We look at about a million of them across 100,000 different regions in the genome. And so what we see across these DNA fragments are these patterns of hypermethylation or hypomethylated base pairs. They're very unmethylated compared to normal controls. So when you see these patterns ... they're very predictive that someone may have cancer.
