The French Position in the Cold War
The French position is quite interesting to reflect on, not just because there are kinds of internal divisions within the French state. And I think it also refers to the impact of the Cold War and the colonization, of course, more more broadly. So what I can say about the French position is that again, identity is crucial. It's in nature that the start they make all kinds of proposals to enhance position of resistance fighters,. particularly those operating occupied territory as a response to their experience during Nazi occupation.
