The Role of the WAF in Bomber Command

At the time WAF pretty much worked on the home front and that their involvement in war didn't sort of extend to the offensive capacity. They are assisting bomber command in all sorts of ways planning bomber operations they do lots of things to help plan providing maps information on bombing targets. Most interesting role is debriefing air crews so when you get an air crew come home from a bombing operation whether they know it or not have very very important information in their heads. Women's liberation rights play out but it's quite a long time until women are anything like equal for women in the Royal Air Force.
