I'm still friendly with a lot of the people I used to get really trashed with. Because actually these are individuals who I have respect for and have had wonderful times with as well as painful times with, you know. So often we have this kind of vision of addicts as being just kind of like desperate and inhuman. But ultimately everyone's still a human. And through the, through that time, I lost so many people. One of the ones that hurt my heart was my friend Julie. She died on her way home. If I wasn't high, I could have stopped her. You know what I mean? Even the car to view is thinking Julie don't get in the car
