How to Diagnose an Osteoblastoma
The indication for a bone scan is when there's concerning features on the radiograph or other advanced imaging. These lesions are usually less than 1.5 centimeters, otherwise you should think about osteoblastoma. The nitis contains uniform osteoid seams of immature osteoid trabeculae with a sharp border of osteoblastic rimming. There's also a uniform plump osteoblasts that have regularly shaped nuclei with abundant cytoplasm.
