Cyber Command Attorneys Consider the Legality of Cyber Command Operations
Cyber Command attorneys evaluate the legality of proposed offensive cyber operations. It's not a matter of international law, but it really is beyond the statutes and we would normally call legal research that we'd be looking into for something like that. We do of course also look at the international law to ensure that our operations fall within law of armed conflict. And then we get into the regulations that come from either the executive branch or the national security council or within the Department of Defense.
