The Importance of Cash in the COVID Pandemic
Chandrabhan: I am finding to say that how cash is important. Cash is important and Dalits weren't allowed to have cash which is why the right to private property is so important for Dalits. So these are all proxies for not just exclusion and oppression but they're also proxies for poverty. Lack of wealth lack of access right and you are showing how these proxies have disappeared, Chandrabhan says. This gives evidence for how Dalits have actually moved up in society.
