I find Mandelbrod a fascinating guy and I'm kind of late to the party on him too. He was one of the first to be saying, you know, this efficient market hypothesis might have some holes in it. But there's a lot of people at the University of Chicago would also agree with me. How the efficient market hypothesis theory, when they attempt to explain October of 2008, it just falls down.
