Conspiracy: did aliens build the pyramids?

Introduction
The idea that aliens built the pyramids is a fairly recent one. It really develops after H.E. Wells publishes The War of the Worlds in 1897. In 1954 British journalist Harold Wilkins published a book called Flying Sources on the Attack. He claimed as truth that ancient civilizations have visited Earth and Egypt but had inspired people to build them.
