Is There Such a Thing as Objective Truth?

I don't sort of subscribe to the view that there is one truth and that there's only one way of telling stories. But I do subscribe to the idea that my truth is the same as your truth ranks with yours even if I'm lying through my teeth. Take a very simple example if you're living in T-Gray province at the moment and you want to know what's actually happening on the ground you would not listen to Addis Abba, you would listen to the BBC. If you really wanted to know what was going on on the ground in T- Gray you'd probably be best advised of following all sorts of different people with different inclinations via social media.
