Liz Truss was caving in to the threat of a massive rebellion from Tory-backed Benchers. She had lost her Chancellor, Home Secretary and Chief Whip by middle of week. There were claims that Sir Graham Brady had dozens of letters saying she's got to go. And then we heard all these extraordinary tales of argy, bargey and man-handling of MPs where conservative MPs were voting. Claims of scuffles and all sorts of bad behaviour, it was chaos.
