Are the Distilled Handwriting Samples Legitimate?

One of the handwriting experts who testifies for the prosecution was originally hired by paul's defence attorney. Paul's lawyer objects to his testimony, of course, but it's overruled. The expert doesn't identify paul as the letter writer. He says that he can't prove or disprove that. But he does say that, in his opinion, the person who wrote the dictated handwriting samples is the same people who wrote the ters and the booby trap sign.
