The Biden administration and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's office they're closing in on a deal. The legislation being drafted would raise the government's 31.4 trillion dollar debt ceiling for two more years it would also impose strict caps on most items not related to the military or veteran spending. There is no agreement but a lot of hope for an agreement with just six days until the treasuries projected x-state of June 1. A lot of concern about the U.S. credit rating being lowered even if there is a deal.
