What Keeps People Working on Film Sets?
We heard a number of different answers for this. Sabrina talked about how she's a child of immigrants and she learned English by watching movies. Other people just absolutely love the craft. One person we spoke with, Dominique Dawson, who's a costume designer, grew up watching Hollywood movies with her mom. She said at the end of our piece, even knowing all of these things about the industry, that's out the window,. I'm going to keep working in this industry because I'm so passionate about it.
