Robots Aren't Humanoid, Right?

It's going to be a long time before we have the kind of robots or artificial intelligence tha you see in science fiction. And i understand that there are a these japanese siborg type a robots that are, that become human facsimiles. But they aren't any different just because we put a human face on it and some sort of rubbery skin,. It really isn't any more sophisticated or more human like than the robots that are on the factory floor all over the country right now.
