Punk goes so many different directions in England right away I mean you have a band like Joy Division kind of making this art goth kind of glacial music that would inspire depressed people all over the world for generations. So how did we even put together this list John like you helped bring it together you were the shepherd. It's kind of ends up being sort of two stories. One is what happens in England after the sex pills. The opposite kind of happens in America where you have the Ramones come out and it's this monumental record but it does not have a lot of commercial impact at all.
