Some 1.3 million people deported, some 1.1 million murdered at Auschwitz. Approximately 85% of the deportees were Jews, approximately 90% of victims were Jews. But still we use the word some approximately. Is there still a research challenge when we talk about the numbers and are we still able to conduct research?
