Is the English Approach to Counterterrorism Harsher?

i think it's absolutely true that united states had an enormous amount of a counterterrorism policy coming from the executive branch. But i also think that there are some real continuitis with the obama administration, you know, to the extent of the authorization of the use of military force. And in canada, weve quite a few minority governments. Both prime minister blair and brown had real trouble getting through forty two and 90 days maximums of preventive arrest. In fact, their back benchers refuse to go that far. So i think that is reminder that there is virtue of putting these more extreme executive measures before a deliver ive body for debate.
