This is actually coming at a time when railroads have found ways to become more and more profitable, partly through steps that have reduced the number of workers that are required in order for them to operate. So i don't think it is automatic that te that this will get passed on to customers. Most importantly, what's most important for customers, most important for the system, is stability,. reliability, the ability to recruit and retain excellent workers.
