Eileen Hitchhikes Back to Michigan in July 1976
In July 1976, Eileen is not only dealing with a recent annulment, but also that her big brother Keith is gravely ill with cancer at a medical center in San Francisco. With no cash, she hitchhikes to visit him and gets lucky, and a construction worker gives her $100 to help out. On the verge of being mentally and emotionally tipped over the edge, the imminent death of a loved one will soon send Eileen into a dark, dark place.
