What Changed in the Eighties and Nineties?

The concepto of mass layoffs, where companies will use people's livelihoods so they can meet their arbitrary projections did not exist as a standard of doing business in the united states. Prior to the 19 eighties, it just didn't exist. And shareholdor supremacy, where where we priortize the once needs and desires of an outside constituency over customers and employees, really didn't exist prior to the nineties. Eighties and nineties. So it's only the past 30, forty years that we've seen this steady rise of finite thinking. It has done tremendous damage to a to our economy. It's done is damage to the way we live our livesit its infiltrated hospitals
