Dionysus was so grateful that Midas had found and taken care of Selenius that he gave Midas whatever he asked for, even if that wish was incredibly stupid. Boom, you get a gold house. You get a goldHouse. The same thing happened with water or wine. They didn't know if the power worked on living things but no one wanted to find out. Three days later, starving in his golden gloves and wearing a shirt he had shimmied into backwards, might have thought that it couldn't possibly get any worse than this. He was so wrong. We'll get right back to King Midas making horrible decisions right after this.
