Don't Copy People's Websites
If you're chasing trends, copying somebody else's creative or not digging into if your client is themselves and making something that stands out. People aren't going to remember it because it's something they've seen over and over and over again. You can't live in the shadows of other people or you're never going to grow. If you're designing for a bakery and you copy the style from another bakery, it kind of makes your client look weak and not thoughtful.
