Why You Shouldn't Do Deep Work
If you're just there punching the clock, that's a mercenary. I think honestly, if that was your take, I think you would try to avoid deep work kind of at all costs because it's more energy expenditure. It takes a lot of focus and it takes time away from other fun things you could be doing. And so that's why this is important to the conversation is it's going to allow you to actually do hard work. If you have a clear motivation, a clear why behind what you're doing. We can accept our lot and rejoice in our toil.
