The Poker Analogy Isn't a Good Idea
Poker is an analogy. There's no logic there. It's just the story that reminds you of another story. The real world has infinite possibilities. If you compare something where somebody could conquer a limited set of possibilities, you have said absolutely nothing about the real world with unlimited possibilities. That actually works against the point.
