Jeffrey Toobin was an analyst at Merrill Lynch in the 90s and early 2000s. He worked with Rosie O'Donnell, who he says is one of the best examples of what a Wall Street economist should be. "If you're a sell-side research economist, you are a you are in the client service business," tootled Toobin. The two have been friends for 30 years; they now run their own company together.
