Running 80% of the Way to the End of the Training Cycle

I think a lot of people would struggle with that because it's not their marathon pace. They don't feel like they're working very hard, but it's almost like that one workout is just a drop in the bucket when compared to the entire training cycle. By the time my Monday workout came around, I was still good to hop in and run like threshold work. If that two seconds is what determines the difference between you making it or breaking it, I'll give up that two seconds all day. And then I can hit it hard next week too.
