The second amendment says that a well regulated militia being necessary to a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. But they want to band modern hunting rifles as if they were designed for war. They weren't. The m 16 is just a civilian variant,. and it is just a semi automatic rifle. It it's a semantic argument to say it was designed forwar. So you own a cannon, grape shot and a battleship, but they'r saying you can't own an eight or 15? Nonsense.
