With Sydney Brown gone, Marcus Epps and Michael Carter II seem to be competing to start next to Drew Mukuba in Vic Fangio’s Eagles defense, at least until Howie Roseman makes a splashier addition at some point, whether in the draft or with a trade for someone like Budda Baker.
