COVID - Is This Going to Be as Bad as the Last One?
Ryan: XBB 1.5 has recently emerged as a dominant strain in the United States, jumping from 2% of cases to nearly 30% of cases over three weeks in December. He says we need to stop focusing on single variants and focus more on the landscape of all the variants going on right now as a whole. Ryan: It's always quite difficult to pinpoint exactly where something first evolved or where it became most common - but there was some discussion about how that original XBB arrived in Singapore before many other places.
