Trump's Firing Letter to James Comey Dismisses Him
Matt Welch: Why would the president even mention the investigation into Russia in his letter dismissing the director of the FBI who oversaw it? He makes it hard to argue that he's not thinking about Russia when he mentions the Russia investigation in the firing letter. So kind of a giveaway. It's definitely on his mind. That doesn't prove that's why he was fired, but it makes me ask a million questions. But honestly, Comey was one of a large course of people saying what the president tweeted wasn't true. The Department of Justice has no information that supports those tweets.
