Stripe - Is Stripe Really a Payments Company?
Stripe is a payments company that tries to make everything about paying money, you know, with credit cards and receiving money with it just work from the perspective of users and developers. And their stated goal is to increase the GDP of the internet. Now, that sounds a lot like the block dollar. I think there's this fundamental cap on what they can do and that cap comes at the level of these kind of constant iterative zero. They're just like, you just can't enable this sort of constant firing chain happening in the primordial, you know robot soup. Especially that block dollars have to be domiciled in a particular area even though crypto is inherently global.
