Do You Think the Ottowa Group Is Trying to Do Something?

In november 20 20, 13 world trade organization members working together on w t o reform called the ottawa group. They announced that they had joined forces to urge all w t o members to suspend tariffs on medical equipment. The country that is a glaringly obviously not there is the united states. Why? I have no idea this point.
