High Yield Bonds - Never Hurts to Get Lucky.

CNN's Richard Quest began his career as an equity analyst. When he moved to the trust company of the West, he started covering fixed income. The bank didn't do well in that period because we were nifty 50 investors. And a new guy came in to be chief investment officer and wanted his own director of research. He said, I'd like you to start a convertible bond fund. Just like that. That was 37 years ago.
