When Charles was Prince of Wales, he had this entity called the Duchy of Cornwall. He owned his home in Wales, for example, and also through the Prince of Wales Foundation held two properties in Transylvania and Romania. Now that he's been king, there's the Sovereign Grant, which is basically a portion of profits from another entity called the Crown Estate.
