What's Desperate Impact?
Liberal programme to put low income housing in middle class neighborhoods. When they can't find examples left of actual discrimination out there, they had to change it to desperate impact. This word is becoming anachronistic. Call it woke, spoke, if you will. An ancient labor law usage. It often accompanied the now equally calcified term disproportional representation. But in 20 first century american wok speak, it is no longer necessarily unfair, illegal or unethical that some racial, gender or ethnic group are over represented.
