I Was a Victim of Sexual Abuse in the Military
He writes as a young child, i was sexually assaulted by a teen boy in my neighborhood. He would threaten to tell my friends if i didn't submit to his assaults. I lived in silence for more than 30 years before opening up about what happened and making peace with it. She's never said she believes me, and generally doesn't want to talk about it. My partner had series of failed relationships before me and was physically abused as a child. These things all inform who she is to day, and i think are the root of her lack of trust in me.
