And so all the way through the interwar yearsramania moved increasingly towards what was at the beginning just a popular nationalism, and became gradually more more menacing fachism. They made the link between communists and jews and sai therefore they must be expunged from this country er. That became a very populist theme. So romania decided that the best way for them to survive the second more war intact, and to keep their integrity and their size, was to join nary germany.
