There just isn't enough of it, basically. It's easier to supply infantry in the field than it is armor. And also, i suppose you need more numbers. The british army is flushed with armour, compared to, say, the germans,. And they use it very effectively. But when they're working with units that they're familiar with, chances are was going to go well. When they'reworking with units for the first time, it's a lot more problematic.
