The Post Newsroom Is Not a Criticism of the Newsroom

The video that's been making the rounds on Twitter of Fred Ryan walking out and not answering questions comes from the post's own national correspondent. The idea that you would just go out and effectively broadcast the mistakes that your own publisher and CEO is making really tells you about how much the newsroom has in Fred Ryan's leadership. This is not a knee jerk reaction to layoffs. Reporters certainly don't like being laid off and they feel like they have platforms to talk about that.
