What Happened to Brooke Bergen?

During most of the time i was writing the book, brooke was in prison. And she was in prison again, not for for a drug offence, but for driving without a driver's license. So what happens with somebody like brooke is the system finds another way to once you're involved in the criminal justice system, it's hard to get away. I i believe the system very much contributed to her death. You're not going to a treat an addiction while body's in prison.
