The average number of miles driven per year, per car or per person is going down. It seems to have peaqued in about two thousand and four in europe. The general trend here is that owning and driving a car is becoming less convenient. Smart phones make it easier to use things like docklas bike rental services generally. And i call this the internet of motion - mobility as a service.
